Catamaran Charter in Miami

No. Every Book My Boat catamaran comes with a licensed captain. Bareboat charters need a US Sailing or RYA certification. Your captain handles all sailing, anchoring, and weather calls.

Sailing cats hold 6 to 12 guests. Power cats hold 10 to 20. Party cats hold up to 49 guests under Coast Guard rules. Larger crewed yachts can hold more under inspected passenger vessel certificates.

Yes. Cats sit with a shallow draft so they pull up close to popular sandbars. Your captain times the trip around the tide for the best swim window. Plan an early arrival on weekends.

The Star Island loop and the Stiltsville run are top picks. Both stay in calm bay water with clear skyline views. Sunset routes east toward Key Biscayne also rate high with first-time guests.

Yes. Bimini sits about 50 miles east. A power cat covers the crossing in 3 to 4 hours. You will need passports for everyone on board, and the captain files customs paperwork before you go.

Captain, fuel, safety gear, coolers with ice, and dock fees are all included. Most boats also bring paddleboards or floats. Food, drinks, and gratuity are separate. Some boats allow catering delivery to the dock.

Yes. Florida law requires children under 6 to wear a life jacket while underway on vessels under 26 feet. Most cats are larger, but jackets are still on board for every guest who wants one.

Light rain does not cancel a trip. Storms, high winds, and small craft advisories trigger a reschedule or full refund per the listing policy. Your captain makes the call the morning of the charter.

Book 4 to 6 weeks ahead for peak season weekends (December through April). 1 to 2 weeks is fine for weekday trips. Same-day bookings sometimes open up after a cancellation.
